Professional Journey

My professional path has evolved across engineering, digital technology, and data leadership in complex industrial environments.

Early Engineering & Field Operations

I began my career in field engineering roles supporting drilling operations in remote and technically demanding environments across Latin America. These roles required real-time operational decision-making where engineering judgment, safety awareness, and technical discipline were critical to successful project execution.

My responsibilities later expanded into drilling engineering and optimisation roles focused on planning complex wells, managing operational risk, and improving drilling performance through structured engineering analysis and data-driven decision-making.

Engineering & Operations Leadership

I later moved into regional engineering leadership roles in Australasia, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting drilling programs for major international operators. In this role I served as technical authority for engineering planning and risk assessment while maintaining close collaboration with customers and operational teams.

Digital Product Platforms

My work then transitioned toward digital technology and product development. As a global product manager I led the development of integrated hardware–software platforms supporting engineering workflows and operational decision-making.

These initiatives required translating complex operational needs into scalable digital products delivered by globally distributed engineering and software teams.

Research & Systems Integration

I subsequently worked in a research and development environment in Cambridge, bridging research scientists and engineering teams to translate advanced modelling and data science techniques into deployable engineering solutions.

Enterprise Data & AI Leadership

Most recently, my role focused on enterprise data leadership, defining data strategy, governance, and architecture to enable analytics and AI across a global industrial division.

Across these roles, a consistent theme has been integrating engineering expertise, digital platforms, and data capabilities to support complex operational systems.

The four capability areas presented on this site reflect this progression and the capabilities developed across engineering, digital platforms, and data leadership.
